Synchronisation in LTE Networks – Sept 30th – Free Seminar

Sync Services
When:
30th September 2014
Time: 8:30 – 13:00
Where: Citywest Hotel, Saggart, Co. Dublin

Packet synchronisation technologies are critical to the roll-out of ethernet backhaul networks, which are required for the successful deployment of LTE. This is of particular significance in Ireland as the leading mobile carriers are currently implementing 4G networks. Correct optimisation and synchronisation of LTE 4G networks is essential in order to improve speeds and reduce costs, complexity and data delays.

This seminar aims to provide network engineers, planners, architects and managers with responsibility for deploying LTE technologies in Ireland with the very latest information and insights on synchronisation standards, deployment, testing, management and network optimisation.

The keynote presentation will be given by leading industry expert Tim Frost from Calnex, a world leader in test and measurement solutions. Tim has several patents in the area of synchronisation and circuit emulation. He has also held several roles on international standards bodies such as the Small Cell Forum, Metro Ethernet Forum, ITU-T and IETF.

Other industry experts speaking at the event include Simon Butcher from Microsemi, a leading global supplier of synchronisation and timing solutions to telecoms providers, and Adam Paterson from Calnex.

Attendees will have the opportunity to network with industry peers and the international speakers. A complimentary lunch is included in this free event.
