PerkinElmer Chromatic Dispersion Measurement System (CD500)
A new generation of fiber test equipment based on the latest digital DSP technology.For PerkinElmer Chromatic Dispersion(CD), the PE.fiberoptics CD500 uses the patented double demodulation technique to directly measure chromatic dispersion of optical fibers. The innovative approach offered by the CD500 provides advantages in both fiber production and research environments.
For Polarisation Mode Dispersion (PMD), the CD500 uses the Fixed Analyser wavelength scanning method, enabling measurement of PMD values down to 0.005ps.
The functionality of the included ‘PEcon’ software allows for automatic and sequential testing of all parameters with a single connection of the sample and a single button press.
