Dear Jorge Data Edge are delighted to invite you to our no cost annual technical workshop, designed to provide an insight to some of the newer issues you and your colleagues increasingly face. This year we will cover RF Interference Analysis and the newEMF Exposure Regulations. And let’s not ignore the social element – this is your chance to learn (almost!!) as much chatting with friends in the same business over coffee or lunch. We hope you and your colleagues can attend – please signup here.
Date & Time:Tuesday October 13th, 2015. 08.30 to 12.30 Venue:Swiftbrook Room, Citywest Hotel, Saggart, Naas Rd, Dublin Agenda:
RF Interference Analysis
One of the big challanges facing mobile operators in Ireland is analysing and locating the source of RF Interference. This is becoming a larger problem with the rollout of 4G, increasing use of mobile data, higher data speeds and higher customer expectations.
The workshop will examine the different types of interference most commonly experienced, their causes, their effects and how to locate and resolve them. We will demonstrate some of the tools used in other countries where the rollout is more advanced and the problems more acute.
New RF Safety Regulations
The EU is about to introduce important new Regulations which will update the Health & Safety rules regarding EMF exposure for workers.
We know that making these types of topics sound interesting is a bit of a challenge but our colleague, Jeff Hinsley, from Narda will do his best! Besides, these regulations are put there for good reasons, so what Jeff has to say will be of relavance and importance to all attendees.
I hope that you and/or a colleague will be able to attend. These Workshops fill up pretty quickly, so if you would like to attend, please register as soon as possible.
If you have any questions to do with the Workshop, please give me a call today on 2866777 or email me at cglynn@dataedge.ie
I look forward to seeing you on Oct 13th.PS – Site Master Training
A number of companies have asked if we could organise an Anritsu Certified Site Master Training course. If you would be interested in attending, please let me know as the course needs a minimum of 8 students to run.
Best Regards,
