BRAY, 19th November 2024: Data Edge, Ireland’s leading network optimisation specialist and application performance management company, today announces the appointment of Himanshu Patel as its new Chief Technology Officer.
In his new role, Himanshu will be responsible for leading the company’s technology strategy and ensuring a smooth delivery of its services to customers. He will also work with his team to drive innovation to enhance Data Edge’s current products and services, as well as exploring and developing new solutions which will open up further opportunities for the company.
Through strengthening Data Edge’s technology offering, Himanshu is aiming to bring in new business which will ensure the company is able to maintain its strong position in Ireland’s digital landscape while also growing and succeeding in new markets.
Himanshu joined Data Edge in 2019 and has progressed through the company, moving to Pre-Sales Engineer and then Sales Engineer – a position he held for nearly four years until his promotion. In that time, he developed a deep understanding of Data Edge’s business as well as its customers’ needs.
Prior to joining Data Edge, Himanshu held roles at Accenture and International Travel Network. He possesses a Master’s degree in Computer Science from Riga Technical University, Latvia, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Gujarat Technological University, India.
