Description

NTG

National Timing Grid of Ireland is an initiative that includes the creation of a country Timing reference, and with it to interlink independent atomic clocks within Ireland to create a more robust timing infrastructure, and to distribute UTC(NSAI) via all modern timing methods.

Founding members NSAI, Timing Solutions, Data Edge Ltd

Direct traceability to UTC(NSAI). ePRTC – Improved holdover in case of GNSS degradation through a common timescale observation and steering. Distribution of packet timing services NTP/PTP, 1PPS.

The NTG initiative was formally launched in September 2023

NTG monitoring service provides near real time tracking of clock stability against other atomic clocks to provide early warnings in case of performance degradation.

Several Irish Clients;
